Biology and Chemistry
Though machines are, without a doubt, my passion I can't help but be curious about other fields as well. I enjoy experimenting with various chemical processes and have even started here and there to branch into some biological experiments on a limited scale. In particular, I find myself doing a fair amount of electrochemical and power generation investigation, trying out battery and reference cell chemistries, playing with fuel cells, and the like. In terms of biological science, my interests are definitely mathematical in nature, focusing on growth and computational analysis, with a smattering of experimental work (e.g. verification of bacterial or mold growth has happened a couple of times). I've also occasionally attempted some biological synthesis, either via fungi or plants, but admittedly with little success as yet.
